Report on the Actual Expenditure at the end of the 1st Quarter of the Financial Year 2017

- In accordance with the report of the expenditure presented by Hon. Ravi Karunanayake, the Minister of Finance, in relevance to the 1st Quarter of the Financial Year 2017, the Cabinet noted that the Government has incurred a total expenditure of Rs.957,365 million, constituting Rs.482,856 million as recurrent expenditure and Rs.474,509 million as capital expenditure at the end of the 1st Quarter of the Financial Year 2017. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Ravi Karunanayake, the Minister of Finance, to present the report prepared in relevance to the 1st Quarter of the year 2017, in Parliament, according to the Budget proposal 2017, was approved by the Cabinet.
