The proposed Air Services Agreement between Sri Lanka and Canada

- Canada is a home to a large number of population of Sri Lanka and at present, an Air Services Agreement does not exist between Sri Lanka and Canada. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Nimal Siripala De Silva, the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, to sign the proposed Air Services Agreement presently initialed at official level providing facilities for the promotion of business and tourism industry with a view to formalizing the Air Services between the two countries and subsequently to take appropriate measures for the effective implementation of the Agreement, was approved by the Cabinet.
