Construction of the Eye Theatre and Wards (Stage II) at the General Hospital, Kalutara

- The project for the construction of the Eye Theatre and Wards is implemented in order to minimize the obstructions caused in the provision of Eye Clinic services and Patient Care services due to the lack of adequate space presently available in the General Hospital, Kalutara. As such, the proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine, to award the contract to the lowest evaluated substantially responsive bidder as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
