Revision of the Import Cess Levy

- The proposal made by Hon. Malik Samarawickrama, the Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade, to present the Gazette Notification No.2011/09 of 21.03.2017 published under section 14/1 of the Sri Lanka Export Development Act No.40 of 1979 to remove the Import Cess Levy on several items with the objective of encouraging local industries, in Parliament, for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
