Upgrading of the Thondaman Vocational Training Centre at Hatton

- The Government of India has agreed to provide a grant of Rs.199 million to upgrade the Thondaman Vocational Training Centre at Hatton with a view to improving the skills and vocational capabilities of the youth in the plantation sector. The proposal made by Hon. U. Palani Digambaram, the Minister of Hill Country New Villages, Infrastructure and Community Development, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding, in that regard, was approved by the Cabinet.
