Policy and Legal Framework relating to the Proposed Counter Terrorism Act of Sri Lanka

- In accordance with the Cabinet decision as at 04th April 2017, the Policy and Legal Framework relating to the Counter Terrorism Act of Sri Lanka, amended taking into consideration the observations of the Minister of Defence and the other Ministers was presented to the Cabinet by Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe, the Prime Minister and the Cabinet decided to approve the Policy and Legal Framework so presented and instruct the Legal Draftsman to draft the proposed Counter Terrorism Act of Sri Lanka based on the said Policy and Legal Framework.
