Memorandum of Understanding between India and Sri Lanka for Co-operation in Economic Projects

- The proposal made by Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe, the Prime Minister to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of India and the Government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka for co-operation in Economic Projects, was approved by the Cabinet.

The Cabinet also noted that the respective Ministries will submit separate Cabinet Memoranda with regard to the projects to be implemented between the two countries jointly, in consultation with all stakeholders, prior to entering into such formal Agreements.
