Awarding of contracts for buildings to be constructed at the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka and the University of Colombo

- Cabinet approval has been granted to select constructors under the competitive bidding system to construct a building complex for quarters for the academic and non-academic staff of the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka and to complete the balance construction work of the 17 story building complex being constructed for the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Colombo. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Lakshman Kiriella, the Minister of Higher Education and Highways to award the contracts as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
