Extension of time frame of the Project for the construction of Gokarella Police Station

- Cabinet approval has been granted on 23rd of December, 2015 for the construction of the Gokarella Police Station under an estimated cost of Rs.95.71 million. As at, 31st December 2016, 30% of the construction work of the Police Station has been completed. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Sagala Ratnayake, the Minister of Law & Order and Southern Development, to obtain the balance provision released for the completion of the above project and to extend the time frame of the project from 2017 to 2018, was approved by the Cabinet.
