Revision of the Total Cost Estimate of Ruhunupura Water Supply Project

- It is proposed to revise the cost estimate of Rs.8,653.54 million of the Ruhunupura Water Supply Project to Rs.10,029.64 million, for reasons beyond the control of the contractor. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, the Minister of City Planning and Water Supply, to revise the contract sum concerned in accordance with the Agreement reached after consultation with the Secretary to the Treasury and to proceed with the implementation of the project, was approved by the Cabinet.
