Development of infrastructure facilities of the Universities of Kelaniya, Wayamba, Ruhuna, Moratuwa, Rajarata, Colombo, Sri Lanka Bhiksu, Peradeniya, Sabaragamuwa and Eastern

- The proposal made by Hon. Lakshman Kiriella, the Minister of Higher Education and Highways to select contractors by following open competitive bidding procedure to implement 13 projects to develop essential infrastructure facilities of the Universities of Kelaniya, Wayamba, Ruhuna, Moratuwa, Rajarata, Colombo, Sri Lanka Bhiksu, Peradeniya, Sabaragamuwa and Eastern at an estimated cost of Rs. 6,960.95 million and to allocate provisions required for the purpose from the Medium Term Budgetary Frame Work 2017-2022, was approved by the Cabinet.
