Capacity Building for Service Excellence - 2017/2018

- In terms of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) entered into between the Government of Sri Lanka and the Government of Singapore, 70 mid‑career Public Officers were provided with a special training on Capacity Building at the Civil Service College of Singapore, in the year 2016. The joint proposal made by Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe, the Prime Minister and Hon. Ranjith Madduma Bandara, the Minister of Public Administration and Management, to conduct a medium term training programme titled 'Capacity Building for Service Excellence' jointly, by the Civil Service College of Singapore and the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA), for the years 2017- 2018, to develop further, the specific skills needed for the officers selected, under the Memorandum of Understanding, was approved by the Cabinet.
