Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Sri Lanka and Russia for the promotion of Combating Crimes and Fostering the Police Assistance

- The Cabinet had granted approval on 2014‑06‑06 to sign the MoU between Sri Lanka and Russia for the promotion of Combating Crimes and Fostering the Police Assistance, the MoU had not been signed up to date. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Sagala Ratnayake, the Minister of Law & Order and Southern Development, to sign the MoU during the scheduled Heads of State visit by H.E. the President to Russia in March 2017, was approved by the Cabinet.
