Appointment of the University of Moratuwa as the Consulting Agency for Construction of the Kelaniya Police Station

- With the objective of to establishing a people friendly police service Islandwide, the Cabinet has already granted approval to implement a project for the construction of model Police Stations in accordance with the approved model plans, giving priority to the convenience of the public and as well as the Police Officers considering the surroundings and the environmental factors of the respective provinces. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Sagala Ratnayake, the Minister of Law & Order and Southern Development to appoint the University of Moratuwa as the Consultancy Agency for construction of the Kelaniya Police Station, was approved by the Cabinet.
