Agreement on Mutual Cooperation between Sri Lanka and the Czech Republic in trade matters

- The proposal made by Hon. Malik Samarawickrama, the Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade, to enter into an Agreement between the Ministry of Development Strategies & International Trade of Sri Lanka and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic with a view to enhancing trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, providing facilities for bilateral investment promotion and identifying economic and investment opportunities, promotion of close trade and industrial cooperation and facilitate networking activities in the entrepreneurial institutions in the two countries promoting greater understanding between the private sectors of the two countries regarding trade and economic policies and encouraging the cooperation in their areas of mutual interest, was approved by the Cabinet.
