Agreement between Sri Lanka and Myanmar on Visa Exemption for holders of Diplomatic and Official/Service Passports

- The Cabinet granted covering approval to the proposal presented to the Cabinet by Hon. S.B. Navinne, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wayamba Development and Cultural Affairs, for the Agreement entered into between the Government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Government of the Union of Myanmar, to facilitate the citizens of the two countries holding valid diplomatic or official/service passports to enter, transit and stay in the territory of either party for a period which does not exceed 30 days from the date of entry, with a view to further developing friendly relations between the two countries.
