Press briefing of Cabinet Decision taken on 2017-02-28

Bilateral Instruments to be signed between Sri Lanka and Indonesia during the State Visit of the H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena to Indonesia on 8th of March 2017

- His Excellency the President Maithripala Sirisena, is due to undertake a State Visit to Indonesia on 8th March 2017. As such, the proposal made by the Hon.(Dr.) Harsha de Silva, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, to sign the bilateral instruments of the following, was approved by the Cabinet :-

* Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development of Sri Lanka and the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of Indonesia.

* Memorandum of Understanding between the Marketing Services Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises and Cooperation (SMESCO) of Indonesia and the National Crafts Council of Sri Lanka in the field of Traditional Industrial Cooperation.
