Introduction of a Feed-in Tariff System for purchasing electricity generated by Municipal Solid Waste Processing

- The proposal made by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, to implement the Feed-in Tariff System prescribed by the Sri Lanka Public Utility Commission to purchase the electricity generated in the Urban Solid Waste Dumping Yards to be established at Karadiyana and Muthurajawela and such Solid Waste Dumping Yards to be established in future for which the Cabinet approval has already been granted, was approved by the Cabinet.
