Obtaining the assistance of the Sri Lanka Scouts Movement for the conservation of natural resources and building of human-wildlife co-existence

- The joint proposal made by Hon. Gamini Jayawickrema Perera, the Minister of Sustainable Development and Wildlife and Hon. Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, the Minister of Education, to conduct a training programme to obtain the assistance of the Sri Lanka Scouts Movement and the Girl Guides, for a 03 year period, at the Randenigala Trainig Centre of the Sri Lanka Wildlife Trust, with the collaboration of the Department of Education, was approved by the Cabinet.
