Improvement of the Police Hospital

- The Sri Lanka Police Hospital established in the year 1911 needs to be improved in a manner suited to provide adequate health facilities for the officers of the Sri Lanka Police, the members of their families and as well as the retired Police officers. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Sagala Ratnayaka, the Minister of Law & Order and Southern Development, to vest the land in extent of 02 Roods 23.5 Perches owned by the Urban Development Authority situated opposite to the Police Hospital, with the Sri Lanka Police, for the renovation of the Police Hospital situated at Narahenpita, as a state-of-the-art Hospital, was approved by the Cabinet.
