Establishment of an Industrial and Techno Development Super Zone at Raigama, Kalutara

- The Cabinet has already granted approval for the Establishment of an Industrial and Techno Development Super Zone at Raigama, in the Kalutara District. With the objective of commencing this project expeditiously, the proposal made by Hon. Rishad Bathiudeen, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, to award the contract for the development of the infrastructure facilities of the super zone to the Central Engineering Services Company (Pvt) Ltd.(CECL), owned by the Government, deviating from the normal procurement procedure, was approved by the Cabinet.
