Purchasing of Deferasirox Tablets needed for the Hospitals

- The proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine, to award the tender for the purchase of 1,250,000, 400 mg Deferasirox Tablets, used for the treatment of iron overload caused by blood transfusions, as recommended by the Procurement Appeal Board, was approved by the Cabinet.
