The Jaffna - Killinochchi Water Supply and Sanitation Project - Revision of the cost of the Consultancy Contract

- The Jaffna - Killinochchi Water Supply and Sanitation Project commenced in the year 2011, with the funds provided by the Asian Development Bank to achieve the objective of assisting the resettlement in the Northern Province and improving the living standards of the people in the Jaffna Peninsula, provides safe drinking water to around 300,000 people living in those districts. Considering the variation of the contractual cost beyond the control of the contractor of the project, the proposal made by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, the Minister of City Planning and Water Supply, to revise the contractual cost, was approved by the Cabinet.
