Modernization of the Agriculture Sector and Strengthening the Reconciliation Processes in Sri Lanka

- The European Union has agreed to provide grant assistance of Euro 30 Million and Euro 14.5 Million respectively, for the 'Modernization of the Agriculture Sector Programme in Sri Lanka' and 'Strengthening the Reconciliation Processes Programme in Sri Lanka' and accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe, the Prime Minister, in his capacity as the Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs, to enter into the relevant financial Agreements with the European Union, was approved by the Cabinet.
