Agreement on the Educational Cooperation between Sri Lanka and Vietnam

- Agreement on Educational Cooperation between Sri Lanka and Vietnam entered into, with a view to developing the educational cooperation within the higher educational sector, was implemented from the year 2011 up to the year 2015. The two countries, with the objective of further strengthening the mutual cooperation between their higher educational institutions, have agreed upon the implementation of the said Agreement with the relevant amendments for the period between the year 2016 to 2020. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Lakshman Kiriella, the Minister of Higher Education and Highways, to sign the new Agreement on Educational Cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education and Highways of Sri Lanka and the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, was approved by the Cabinet.
