The Memorandum of Understanding on Diplomatic Consultation between the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia

- The proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Harsha de Silva, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on Diplomatic Consultation between the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Foreign Ministry of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia during the forthcoming visit of the Hon. Mangala Samaraweera, the Minister of Foreign Affairs to Ethiopia, with a view to strengthening and promoting the traditional relations of friendship and co-operation between the two countries, on the basis of the principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, was approved by the Cabinet.
