Award of Two Contract Packages for Civil Works under the Landslide Disaster Protection Project of the National Road Network

- The proposal made by Hon. Lakshman Kiriella, the Minister of Higher Education and Highways, to award the contracts for contract Package 01 and 02 under the road disaster management relating to the civil works of the Landslide Disaster Protection Project of the National Road Network and prevention of landslides in 16 places in the Central, Uva and Sabaragamuwa Provinces, to be implemented under the funds provided by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), in accordance with the recommendations of the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
