Implementation of the Integrated Road Investment Programme - 2

- The Asian Development Bank has agreed to provide funds for the rehabilitation, improvement and maintenance of around 4,000 km. of roads in the North, East, Uva and Western Provinces. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Lakshman Kiriella, the Minister of Higher Education and Highways, to carry out the remaining activities pertaining to the implementation of Programme - 2 of the proposed Integrated Road Investment Project, was approved by the Cabinet.
