Provision of the land ownership and suitable houses to the beneficiaries of the Hautiville Housing project under the concept of creating New Villages in the Estate Sector

- The Hautiville Housing project in the Nuwara Eliya District has been initiated under the concept of creating New Villages, with a view to providing a better living condition to the Plantation Community. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. U. Palani Digambaram, the Minister of Hill Country New Villages, Infrastructure and Community Development, to issue Title Deeds to 71 of the beneficiaries of the project, was approved by the Cabinet.
