Implementation of the National Human Resources and Employment Policy (NHREP)

- The proposal made by Hon. W.D.J. Seneviratne, the Minister of Labour and Trade Union Relations, for the implementation of the updated National Human Resources and Employment Policy designed, taking into consideration, the views of all stakeholders and paying more emphasis on private sector participation, to achieve a higher rate of economic growth under the economic development plan of the present government and to generate more employment opportunities, was approved by the Cabinet.
