'Let's Protect Children' National Programme - 2017-2019

- The Government has identified the necessity to safeguard the children, the lifeline of the nation, as a priority need against numerous calamities prevalent in the Society. Accordingly, the proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, to implement the 3 year Activity Plan 'Let's Protect Children' National Programme during the period 2017-2019, encompassing all facets covering, avoid abuse/abduction and ensure child protection, health, nutrition and welfare and personality development, education and life skills, was approved by the Cabinet.
