Construction of the Siyabalanduwa Water Supply Scheme

- The Siyambalanduwa Water Supply Scheme in the Moneragala District proposed to be implemented under the water supply and sanitation improvement project, has been planned to provide safe drinking water to over 8,450 houses in the Siyambalanduwa and Muthukandiya areas. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, the Minister of City Planning and Water Supply, to award the contract for construction of this water supply scheme, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
