Recreational Facilities Development Project at Kumbichchankulama Lake at Anuradhapura

- Although, the Anuradhapura town has the basic infrastructure facilities as well as common amenities, to cater to the population there are no recreation and leisure facilities in the town. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, to allocate funds for Phase II of the project with the objective of renovating the Kumbichchankulama Lake and developing its surroundings with recreational facilities, was approved by the Cabinet.
