Establishment of the Millawa Industries Cluster as Phase I of the Proposed Horana Industrial Township Development

- It is proposed to establish two large industrial townships in Horana and Meerigama areas under the Western Region Megapolis Plan. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, to establish the Millawa Industrial Cluster as Phase-I in the Horana Industrial Township Development Project on a Public Private Partnership basis and for the Urban Development Authority to obtain the required land for the purpose, from the Land Reform Commission, was approved by the Cabinet.
