Construction of the Main Sewerage System in the Panagoda Army Camp
- The Sri Lanka Army Camp in Panagoda, established in the year 1952 comprises of the Security Force Head Quarters (West), 07 Regimental Centres, a Base Hospital and the quarters of the officers and other Rankers. The Main Sewerage System in the Camp is found to be in a dilapidated condition and identified as unproductive to carry out repairs. Accordingly, the proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Minister of Defence, to construct a new Sewerage System in the Panagoda Army Camp, at an estimated cost of Rs.80 Million, was approved by the Cabinet.
