Construction of a new building for the use of the Army Women’s Corps

- The Regiment Head Quarters of Army Women’s Corps is housed in an old building situated in an extent of 92 perches, at Kingsy Road, Borella. Therefore, the proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, in his capacity as the Minister of Defence, to construct a new building instead of the old building, in the same premises, at an estimated cost of Rs.94 Million, was approved by the Cabinet.
