Bilateral Instruments to be signed between Sri Lanka and Malaysia during the forthcoming official visit of H.E. the President to Malaysia

- H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena is due to undertake an official visit to Malaysia from 15 - 17 of December, 2016. Therefore, the proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Harsha de Silva, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, to sign the following Bilateral Instruments with the Government of Malaysia during the above official visit, was approved by the Cabinet.

* Memorandum of Understanding 'on Cooperation in Tourism Related Activities';

* Memorandum of Understanding 'on Cooperation in the Field of Training, Research and Public Administration';

* Memorandum of Understanding between the Sri Lanka Council for Agricultural Research Policy and the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute;

* Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Plantation Industries of Sri Lanka and Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities of the Federation of Malaysia;

* Memorandum of Understanding 'on Cooperation in the Field of Culture, Arts and Heritage' and

* Memorandum of Understanding 'on Cooperation in the Field of Youth Development'
