Declaration of a National Insurance Day

- The proposal made by Hon. Ravi Karunanayake, the Minister of Finance, to declare 1st of September of every year as the 'National Insurance Day', with the objective of making the people of Sri Lanka aware of the importance of insurance and encouraging the possession of a basic insurance cover for every family in the case of death, disease and property damages, was approved by the Cabinet.
