Purchase of Drugs administered to patients for low blood pressure

- The proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine to award the tender for the purchase of 7,200,000 Bottles of 500 ml Sodium Chloride Intravenous Infusion BP 0.95 w/v or Sodium Chloride Injection USP, 0.95 w/v, used in blood volume reduction of patients, as recommended by the Procurement Appeal Board, was approved by the Cabinet.
