Commemoration of the Second Anniversary of the President's Inauguration in Office

- H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena informed the Cabinet of Ministers that he has advised all public institutions to commemorate the Second Anniversary of his inauguration in Office which falls on 2017-01-08, without much celebrations but to make arrangements to commence the projects envisaged in the Budget 2017 which could be implemented expeditiously and also to initiate development programmes to coinside with the commemoration which would yield beneficial results to the general public.
