Entry into three (03) Term Contracts for the Purchase of Refined Petroleum Products

- Since the period of the existing long term contracts for the purchase of Refined Petroleum Products have expired, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has invited bids from the registered suppliers separately for 03 long term contracts, with a view to procuring all petroleum products through long term tenders. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Chandima Weerakkody, the Minister of Petroleum Resources Development, to award the 03 long term contracts for the period from 2016-12-01 up to 2017-07-31, in accordance with the recommendation of the Special Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SSCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
