Supply of 10 Diesel Electric Locomotives to Sri Lanka Railways

- With a view to providing a more efficient Railway transport service to the people, the proposal made by Hon. Nimal Siripala de Silva, the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, to award the contract for the procurement of 10 Diesel Electric Locomotives to the Sri Lanka Railway Department under the Indian Line of Credit, as recommended by the Cabinet Appointed Negotiation Committee (CANC), was approved by the Cabinet.
