Provision of Funds for the implementation of the Thambuttegama Water Supply Project

- The Cabinet has granted approval for the implementation of the Thambuttegama pipe born Water Supply Project covering 42 Garama Niladhari Divisions comprising of Thalawa, Thambuttegama and Galnawa Divisional Secretary's Divisions aimed at providing safe drinking water. Therefore, the proposal made by Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe, the Prime Minister, in his capacity as the Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs, to enter into Loan Agreements with the China Development Bank and the Bank of Ceylon for the provision of funds for the purpose, was approved by the Cabinet.
