Establishment of a Multi-Modal Transport Hub - Fort-Pettah

- Establishment of the Multi-Modal Transport Hub - Fort-Pettah has been incorporated in the Comprehensive Transport Management Plan for the Western Region Megapolis. Accordingly, with a view to providing a comfortable and an efficient transport system for the general public, the proposal made by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, for the implementation of the proposal for the establishment of Multi-Modal Transport Hub integrating all transport modes, as recommended by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Management, was approved by the Cabinet.
