Purchasing Soya Beans for Thriposha Production

- Taking into consideration the matters submitted to the Cabinet by Hon. (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine and Hon. Duminda Dissanayake, the Minister of Agriculture, the Cabinet decided -

* to supply the 5,000 Mt of Soya Beans purchased by the National Food Promotion Board from the Soya Bean Farmers, directly to the Thriposha Company; and

* in the future, to call for quotations from the registered Farmer Societies comprising of Soya Bean Farmers and purchase the required quantity of Soya Beans for the National Thriposha Production Programme.
