Construction of a Vocational Training Centre at Ahangama

- With the objective of expanding the Vocational Training Network to cater to the demand existing in the technical sector of the country, the Cabinet of Ministers has granted approval for the construction of a new Vocational Training Centre at Ahangama under the 'Skills Sector Development Programme (2014-2020)'. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Mahinda Samarasinghe, the Minister of Skills Development and Vocational Training, to award the contract for the construction of the said Vocational Training Centre, in accordance with the recommendation of the Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (CAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
