Implementation of the Pannala-Makandura-Kuliyapitiya Integrated Water Supply Project

- The proposed Pannala-Makandura-Kuliyapitiya Integrated Water Supply Project designed to cover the Pannala area, a part of Makandura area, Kuliyapitiya (East and West) and a part of Udubeddawa Divisional Secretary's Division in the Kurunegala District is expected to provide a safe drinking water supply to cover a population of about 112,000. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, the Minister of City Planning and Water Supply, to award the contract for implementing the project in accordance with the recommendation of the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
