Installation of a new CCTV Network in place of the existing network in the Parliament Chamber

- The Cabinet approval has been granted to install new Networks replacing the existing Sound Congress System, CCTV System, the Main Clock System and the Telephone Exchange in the Parliament. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Ranil Wickremasinghe, the Prime Minister, to award the contract for installing a Digital TV Network in place of the existing CCTV network in the Parliament, in accordance with the recommendation of the Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (CAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
