Completion of the balance work of the building at the Kollupitiya Police Station

- The development activities of the Kolluptiya Police Station was initiated in the year 2007 and subsequently, due to various reasons, the activities of the project was suspended temporarily. With the objective of rendering a friendly, effective and productive police service to the public, the proposal made by Hon. Sagala Rathnayake, the Minister of Law & Order and Southern Development, for the implementation of the project to initiate the construction of the balance work of the building at the Kollupitiya Police Station during the period from 2017-2019, at an estimated cost of Rs.153.3 million, was approved by the Cabinet.
