Regularization and expedition of the receipt of court fines and stamp duties levied on transfer of lands to the Local Authorities

- The proposal made by Hon. Faiszer Musthapha, the Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government, to amend section 19 of the Provincial Council Act, No.42 of 1987, with a view to making the existing method of transferring the revenue received from the receipt of court fines and stamp duties levied on transfer of lands pertaining to the Local Authorities, more effectively to the respective Local Authorities, was approved by the Cabinet.
